Troop,

Below are some useful forms for you to use.  There is a parent guide, "What to Bring on a Campout," health forms and more.  We'll be sure to add other forms as we find we need them.

Summer Camp 2020

Troop 244,

Ransburg Scout Reservation

Ransburg Scout Reservation is the premier Scout camp in the Midwest. Nestled in the rolling hills of southern Indiana, the camp has

several miles of shoreline on Indiana’s largest freshwater lake, Lake Monroe. The beauty of the hardwood trees and lakefront create

one of Scouting’s most beautiful settings. Ransburg has 624 acres of secluded land and is surrounded by the Hoosier National Forest.

We will be attending Sunday June 28 through July 4, 2020 (back around lunch)

It is a great time to be outside with the boys, assisting them with advancement.  There is also an opportunity for you take leadership training course (self-paced) while the boys are in merit badge classes.  Talk to Mrs. Hill, Mr. Schutt, or Mr. Bindewald for more details.

Camp check-in 1:00 PM Sunday        Check-out10:00 AM Saturday

Fees: $50 deposit due in January. Deposit counts toward total fee. Scout EarlyBird $295 (we need funds mid-February 19th troop meeting). You may use your scout account $ for the payment for camp.

Scheduling: We will schedule classes as soon as possible. Scouts should keep in mind what Eagle required badges they need, as well as what they might do to advance in rank.

Health Form:Annual Heath & Medical Record- Part A, B &C(three pages).  Health forms are good for 1 year so you will likely need to schedule a Physical by the end of April.  We will collect these 2 weeks before we go to camp.

Annual Health and Medical Record

The Boy Scouts of America recommends that all youth and adult members have annual medical evaluations by a certified and licensed health-care provider. In an effort to provide better care to those who may become ill or injured and to provide youth members and adult leaders a better understanding of their own physical capabilities, the Boy Scouts of America has established minimum standards for providing medical information prior to participating in various activities. Those standards are offered below in one three-part medical form.
NOTE: unit leaders must always protect the privacy of unit participants by protecting their medical information.
